Elim Lodge
has six rooms, all bright, fresh and clean. Our beds are of a good
quality, and all rooms have complementary hot drinks tray, hair
dryer, wash basin and central heating.
We
can accommodate families, couples, friends (two beds in one room)
and single people. Children are very welcome and we can provide
a high chair and a cot with bedding. Babies stay for free and other
children aged under 13 are half price or less.
We aim to be
a responsible and sustainable business by buying local and fair
trade goods and reducing energy use. We are members of the Lake
District Tourism Conservation Partnership.
After a hard day's sight seeing, you are welcome to relax in our
garden which catches the afternoon and evening sun.

| Breakfast
at Elim Lodge, served in the Victorian dining room, is both filling
and tasty, featuring the best of local ingredients. If it's the traditional
breakfast you're after, then you won't be disappointed. And we also
offer other extras and choices to awaken your senses, from croissants
and yogurt to a full Vegetarian cooked breakfast. |

Out
Indulge
in apple pie and cream at quaint teashops, or visit a country
pub for fresh local trout followed by the richest of Cumbrian
sweets - sticky toffee pudding. Or where better to partake
of that most civilized of meals - afternoon tea - than a
charming lakeside hotel with views unrivalled anywhere in
the country?
The
choice of restaurants in Bowness is very wide, from traditional
fish and chip cafes and pubs to Indian, Italian, Chinese
or Greek cuisine. All are within a five minute walk of Elim
Lodge. For special events, the Bowness area has some of
the finest restaurants in the North West of England - primarily
at the Country House Hotels that command fine locations
overlooking Windermere Lake.
