The Ideal Holiday Location….
Bowness-on-Windermere in the English Lake District. |
| Elim Lodge is
in a picturesque Victorian area of Bowness village, a short stroll
from Windermere Lake. The numerous shops and restaurants of Bowness
are all in easy walking distance. Within the Lake District distances
are short and Elim Lodge is well placed to visit places such as: Ambleside
(5 miles), Grasmere (7 miles), Hawkshead (10 miles), Coniston (14
miles) and Keswick (22 miles). All these places, and many more, are
readily accessible by public transport and we encourage people to
use the good local boat and bus services. It is easy to visit and
tour around the Lake District without a car. |
